Who we are and why do what we do.
Welcome to shiningbrownies.org, a 501 (c)(3) organization. We are two shining brownies who believe in a world where all kids should get a fair chance to thrive and live happy lives. As first generation Americans, we are very grateful to our parents, teachers and mentors for providing us a loving, inspiring, and safe environment, where we can learn and thrive. We know we have privileges many other kids don’t have, such as living in a safe area, going to a good school, and participating in programs that teach skills to be successful individuals and citizens in the future. This is why we created shiningbrownies.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping kids in need.

What we do and how we do it.
We use our talents to create things we love, such as jewelry, books, arts and crafts. We then sell these items to people like you, our supporters. In doing so, you are helping us make our mission of helping other kids possible. We also work with like-minded organizations who help us identify both kids in need and the things they need the most.
Who and where we help.
We help kids of any age, regardless where they are. Our primary goal is to empower them with the necessary tools to make everlasting change in their own lives, their families, and their communities.
